India Launches Extremely Cheap Laptop

India has come up with the world’s cheapest laptop, a touch-screen computers which is worth 35 U.S. dollars.
Human Resource Development Minister of India Kapil Sibal, this week, revealing, low-cost computing devices that are designed for students. He also said his department has started a talk with the owner of a global manufacturer to begin mass production. Sibal said the computer device based on the Linux operating system is expected to be introduced for institutions of higher education began in 2011, but the goal is to reduce the price for further to 20 U.S. dollars and eventually finished to 10th U.S. dollars.
The device was developed by a team of researchers in major technological institutions in India, Indian Institute of Technology and Indian Institute of Science. India spends as much as 3 percent of its annual budget on school education and literacy rate has increased to include 64 percent of the 1.2 billion citizens.

Toshiba Released Libretto; Laptop with Double Screens
Toshiba Libretto or w100 uses two dual screens and the hinge can be rotated 360 degrees.
